INSTRUCTIONS:

Each participant is entitled to present only one abstract as first author.

The abstract presenting author must be registered for the meeting. Abstract acceptance will be considered only after proof of the registration payment.

Only abstracts in English will be considered and will have to be electronically sent through the abstract submission box at the end of this page.
​

Only abstracts in the DOC/DOCX (Word) format will be considered.
​

The title of the abstract must not exceed 150 characters (with spaces) and the main text (excluding authors, keywords and affiliations) must not exceed 2,000.

Only abstracts of unpublished works (or works published in 2017) will be accepted.
-
Abstracts lacking results, presenting only descriptions of research projects and intentions will not be accepted.

In the abstract submission box, the students (undergraduate or graduate categories) are required to inform whether they want to be considered for best research award in Ecology, Genetics or Evolution..

The abstracts will be evaluated by a Scientific Committee. Confirmation of acceptance notice will be sent to the applicant via email.

Overall editing quality (grammar, spelling and typing) is the responsibility of the author solely, and will be considered as an acceptance criterion by the Scientific Committee.

The award winners are expected to give a Talk (in English or Portuguese) in the last day of the meeting (13 minutes total, with time for questions included). The text in the slides should be in English.

The accepted abstracts will be exhibited as posters throughout the X SEGED. The posters presentation dates will be informed in the first day of the event. The physical area destined to each poster is 1m x 1m.
